Pawhuska's City Manager has resigned. In a Special Meeting the Pawhuska City Council approved the resignation of Pawhuska City Manager Mike McCartney. An official statement has not been released by the City of Pawhuska other than the approval of McCartney's resignation and the approval of a severance.

As severance McCartney will continue to receive pay until April of 2018 or six months from the date of his resignation. Reasons for the resignation has not been released.
