An investigation by the Department of Human Services led to the arrest of a Bartlesville man. Holden Tayrien appeared at the Washington County Courthouse on Tuesday facing a charge of enabling child abuse.

According to an affidavit, a DHS worker interviewed Tayrien who stated that he willingly used methamphetamine and forced his pregnant girlfriend to use the drug as well. The child was born early in September and tested positive for methamphetamine. The health services worker believed that upon this evidence Tayrien should be placed under arrest.

His next court is set for November 17^th with no bond listed.
