The Nowata County Commissioners made several appointments during a brief regularly scheduled meeting on Monday.

The Commissioners selected five people to interview to become qualified bridge inspectors. The names were selected from a list provided by the State of Oklahoma. The only other agenda item involved the appointment of two sheriff’s deputies to serve as dispatch officers.

During the announcements portion of the meeting Doug Sonenberg informed the public that there was an impressive turn out at the sheriff’s 5k.

The commissioners will meet again for a regularly scheduled meeting next Monday at 9:00 a.m.
