The Washington County board of Commissioners met at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday morning in the Commissioners Meeting Room. Among the action items, the commissioners heard a presentation from Kary Cox regarding the repair estimate of a 911 vehicle. According to Cox, repairs would cost only $2-thousand short of the total worth of the vehicle. The commissioners heard that presentation, and decided to look into a few options before anything was officially proclaimed.

The commissioners also approved several transportation forms, and Commissioner Mike Bouvier announced that work on 2400 Road was started, but a gas line was marked incorrectly, which his crew then hit. OGE is at the scene fixing the line, but this will delay the work. Once that is fixed, however, work will continue.

Commissioner Mike Dunlap announced that the Matoka bridge will have it's grand opening the morning of August 22 at 11.

All other items were approved, and all reciepts were recieved. The Washington County Board of Commissioners will meet again next Monday morning at 9:30.
