Bartlesville police investigators are reviewing security videos after an incident Sunday night at the Bartlesville Wal-Mart.  According to Captain Jay Hastings officers responded at about 6:30.  Hastings reports that an elderly woman inside the store discovered that her purse was missing.   The woman reportedly confronted a young woman in the store who she suspected had taken her purse.  The young woman ran outside and got into the passenger side of a red Pontiac Vibe.  Several people surrounded the car to prevent the driver from leaving.

Hastings says the victim confronted the occupants of the car about her missing purse.  A passenger in the back seat changed places with the driver and drove off.  The victim fell when the car started moving but the car didn't hit her.  The ambulance took the woman to the hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.  Hastings says police are contacting the owner of the car. The case will most likely be solved based on the tag number and information the witnesses were able to provide.
