A Public Hearing was held Tuesday evening during the Meeting of the Pawhuska Municipal Trust Authority. Representative from INCOG Julie Miner discussed an opportunity the City has to initiate a Master Incentive District Plan. The Incentive Plan will provide an opportunity for economic growth in Pawhuska by enabling business owners and prospective building owners to improve buildings, in the historic district, at a fixed property tax rate. Executive Director of the Pawhuska Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Director Joni Nash discussed the plan on KPGM's Talk of the Town Thursday.

The Public Hearing closed after several questions from the City Council, and the public. Another Public Hearing is scheduled on the same topic for December 19, at noon at the City Hall in Pawhuska.
