BRTA Nominates New Board Officers
Monday afternoon the Bartlesville Redevelopment Trust Authority, BRTA, met for their monthly regularly scheduled meeting. The September meeting marked the end of service for two members of the BRTA board of trustees, Sara McGee has chosen to resign from the board and BRTA Chairman Pat Moore has come to his term limit. The board would also need to nominate and elect new officials.
Before the board of trustees could elect new officials they would first need to nominate for the soon to be vacant seats. The board nominated David Nelson to replace member Sara McGee and nominated Bill Covell to replace Pat Moore. The nominations were approved and they, along with three year extensions for Max Lutke and David Nickel, will need to go before the Bartlesville City Council for approval.
Trustee Tyler Vaclaw was nominated to replace outgoing Chairman Pat Moore, and David Nickel was nominated to serve as Vice Chair. Carla Cherry will continue to serve as Secretary, Deborah Mueggenborg from Stotts Archambo Mueggenborg & Barclay will continue to serve as Treasurer and Executive Director Chris Wilson was nominated and approved to serve as Assistant Secretary.
Before ending the meeting Chairman Pat Moore expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve and will continue to expect great things from the BRTA.
The next meeting of the Bartlesville Redevelopment Trust Authority is scheduled for October 24, at 3:30pm at Bartlesville City Hall.
