Triple-A of Oklahoma says statewide gasoline price averages have fallen 11 cents since the end of August and are continuing to decline.  Triple-A says the state's average price for regular self-serve gasoline Monday stood at $2.02. Spokesman Chuck Mai  says inventories have been good and demand is down following the end of the summer driving season. Mai  says it's likely the statewide average gas price will fall below $2 per gallon in the state sometime this week.

The national average price of regular unleaded gasoline remained relatively stable over the past week and stood at $2.21 per gallon on Monday. Drivers are paying the same price per gallon month-over-month, and 8 cents less per gallon year-over-year.

Triple-A says prices for drivers in the central U.S. remain some of the nation's cheapest.
