Pedestrian Injured in Accident West of Sperry

A Sperry woman is in the hospital as a result of injuries she suffered in a Saturday morning accident four miles west of Sperry.  The Oklahoma highway patrol reports 33 year-old Justin Auten of Sperry was driving his Tahoe eastbound on 113th street a tenth of a mile east of 68th West Avenue.  He swerved to th right to avoid hitting a pedestrian who was walking eastbound with th traffic in the south-side ditch.

Auten was not injured but the pedestrian, 34 year-old Amanda Auten, also of Sperry, was taken to OSU Med in Tulsa by ambulance.  She was admitted in critical condition with internal injuries.
