Oklahoma County Judge Timothy Henderson has vacated a murder conviction for Salaam Moore who has been serving a life sentence for a 1998 killing. Moore’s attorneys argued there was no physical evidence that links him to the death, and Moore was released from custody July 18.

Moore was convicted in 2001 of killing Phillip Gonzales as part of a drug dispute. The conviction was based on an eyewitness testimony, and at Monday’s court hearing, prosecutors dismissed the case.
