In a lengthy meeting on Monday afternoon, the Washington County Budget Board met for two main items. The first was with Standley Systems about the counties printer usage analysis plan. Standley Systems has been analyzing the counties printing for about a month, and they presented their plan to save money and be more efficient. The board will meet on July 5th to make their final decision.

The second was about health insurance. Of the providers, the board has narrowed it down to Blue Cross and Community Care. The majority of the meeting was spent going over the benefits and disadvantages of each.

No final decision has been reached on health insurance, however, the board has said that it is moving diligently towards a decision.
