Crime Stoppers needs your help to locate a wanted fugitive.  According to the Nowata County Sheriff’s Office, 27 year-old Matthew John Kipps of Nowata is wanted on a felony warrant for Injuring or burning a public building.  Osage County authorities also have a warrant for his arrest for second degree burglary, malicious injury to property, and failure to pay.

Kipps is described as a 5-foot, ten-inch tall native American man with brown hair and hazel eyes who weighs about 160 pounds.

Crime doesn’t pay but Crime Stoppers does.  Crime Stoppers will pay an anonymous cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Matthew John Kipps of Nowata.  If you have information on his whereabouts call Crime Stoppers at (918) 336-CLUE or (800) 222-TIPS.  You can also leave a tip through a link on the Crime Stoppers web page at www.neokcs.org or by using the free “P3 TIPS” smart phone app.   There is no caller-ID associated with your call to Crime Stoppers and the web and phone app has no way to trace the tip back to you, so you really are anonymous to crime stoppers.

Crime Stoppers is a local non-profit organization dedicated to safer communities and schools through increasing public awareness about crime and wanted criminals.  When you provide information to Crime Stoppers, you’re not talking to the police but to a representative of a non-profit which will than pass your information on to law enforcement to help them make an arrest and bring criminals to the justice system.  Remember, Crime Stoppers doesn’t want your name, just your information.
