The water main break that happened earlier this morning in the East 6^th and Dewey area has been fixed. The cause for the damage was just an old line, which finally gave way. Workers were at the break and worked for around three hours to fix the leak, then another two hours to compact the gravel back into place. Crews will have to go back next week to finish the road.

There is no confirmed total on who all lost water, however the water was restored by ten this morning.
