A Bartlesville man who was found guilty of drug violations is scheduled to be sentenced on March 23rd.  A Washington County jury this week found 65-year old Bruce Esley Witherow guilty of trafficking in methamphetamine, use of a surveillance camera, and possession of paraphernalia.

The jury recommended that Witherow serve life in prison.  Witherow testified during the sentencing phase of the trial that he doesn't want to die in prison.

Bartlesville Police, agents from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, and the Drug Enforcement Administration served a search warrant in May at 215 NW Seminole.  According to a court affidavit, officers found Witherow hiding under the floor of the home.  The police reportedly found a container which contained 20 grams of meth and digital scales.
