The Central Baptist Church in Owasso delivered 17,000 bottles of water to the citizens of Barnsdall on Thursday evening.  Thanks to Mindy Russell, church members brought the water to City Hall.  Citizens are welcome to come and get the water during regular business hours.

One week ago, the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality issued a mandatory boil water order for Barnsdall and Rural Districts #5 and # 15. As of Friday morning, that order is still in effect. The National Guard is supplying water to local residents bringing their own containers. Mayor

Brock Moore said the water situation has been his first priority since becoming mayor.

Moore expects to get another update from DEQ officials Friday afternoon and is hoping that the boil water will be lifted on Saturday.
