Six days ago, the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality issued a mandatory boil water order for Barnsdall and Rural Districts #5 and # 15. As of Thursday morning, that order is still in effect. The National Guard is supplying water to local residents bringing their own containers. Mayor Brock Moore said the water situation has been his first priority since becoming mayor.

Moore expects to get an update from DEQ officials on Thursday afternoon. A little good news:

Mindy Russell and Central Baptist Church of Owasso will deliver bottled water to Barnsdall Thursday evening around 6:30pm.
