A Washington County jury Wednesday afternoon found 65-year old Bruce Esley Witherow guilty of trafficking in methamphetamine, use of a surveillance camera, and possession of paraphernalia.

Back in May of 2015, Bartlesville Police, agents from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, and the Drug Enforcement Administration served a search warrant at 215 NW Seminole.  According to a court affidavit, officers found Witherow hiding under the floor of the home.  The police reportedly found a container which contained 20 grams of meth and digital scales.

Witherow has prior drug convictions in Washington County.  The jury could recommend Witherow serve life in prison.  Witherow testified during the sentencing phase of the trial that he doesn't want to die in prison.
