Prices at the pump have been falling at a good pace and they could fall even farther. The price of a barrel of oil is at it's lowest level in 12 years but that's not the only reason for low prices. Will Speer, a senior petroleum analyst for Gasbuddy.com, said high gasoline inventories are causing suppliers to drop prices aggressively.

One year ago, the price for regular gas was about $2.30 per gallon. Two years ago prices were well over $3.00 per gallon. Speer said we could see prices under $1.00 per gallon before March 1.
