The Barnsdall community has been under a mandatory boil water order since Friday, February 5. The order was issued by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality after a turbidity issues were found in the community water supply. Osage County Emergency Management Director Jerry Roberts had a hand in bringing the National Guard water tank in on Saturday and it should be available until the boil order is lifted. Roberts said the order is affecting many people.

Mayor Brock Moore said the boil order could last until Friday. Moore said DEQ officials told him on Tuesday that there is progress in the water samples but they still haven't met the three day standard.
