Traffic Stop Leads To An Arrest For Drugs

A $20,000 bond has been set for a Bartlesville woman who allegedly was caught having illegal drugs.  32-year old Estella Elois Thompson is charged with two counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.  Bartlesville police conducted a traffic stop at 5th and Osage.  According to a court affidavit, officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the car.  The suspect was reportedly a passenger and was asked to get out.  Officers searched Thompson and found five bags of meth and a glass smoking pipe.  The police searched the vehicle and found three bags of meth.  Thompson's next court date is February 19th.
