Government officials in Barnsdall are working to get the city's water supply back to a potable condition. Turbidity levels were high at the treatment plant but the levels have decreased tremendously. Mayor Brock Moore said that the Oklahoma National Guard has brought in a 2,000 gallon water tanker. It's located behind the Ethel Briggs library at 412 S. 5th Street and will be available to the city through Tuesday. Residents are asked to bring their own containers to fill with water.

Moore expressed thanks to Osage County Emergency Management Director Jerry Roberts for a quick response to the problem. He also thanked Barnsdall Fire Chief Derek Lanphear and Barnsdall Emergency Management Director Jason Byers for their long day on Saturday. Moore expressed thanks to city residents for their patience and support.
