Two inmates who escaped from the Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center are still on the loose.  An Oklahoma Department of Corrections spokesperson said that 37-year-old John J. Shepherd and 33-year-old Jason Pedro left the prison sometime between 6 A.M. and 8 A.M. on Monday.

Records show that Shepherd had been incarcerated since May 2013 for possession of a stolen vehicle and burglary tools.  Pedro had been in prison since August 2014 on multiple charges, including escape from arrest or detention.
