A $20,000 bond has been set for a Bartlesville man who was allegedly caught with drugs.  57-year old Douglas Alan Williams is charged with possession of methamphetamine.  Bartlesville police conducted a traffic stop for a possible intoxicated driver at the intersection of Yale Drive and Yale Avenue.

According to a court affidavit, officers found inside the vehicle a black eyeglass case containing a metal spoon and a small cotton ball.  Reportedly, both items were covered with a white powderly substance, which tested positive for meth.  Williams told the police that his girlfriend does meth.  Court records indicate that Williams was convicted in 2013 for aggravated assault and battery and is currently on probation.

Williams' next court date is October 30th.
