Four communities in Washington county are hoping for a vote of confidence in Tuesday's Special Election. In Bartlesville, City Council voted to put a 4/10 cent on the ballot that would benefit city services and reestablish staffing levels. Also on the ballot in Bartlesville is an extension of the current economic development tax, which is ¼ of a cent. Bartlesville Development Authority Board Chair Bob Fraser said a Yes vote will keep the city growing.

The Special Election is Tuesday, October 13. Dewey residents are being asked to approve a sales tax extension. Caney Valley School has two resolutions for bond proposals and the Town of Copan is asking residents to vote on issues pertaining to the town charter.
