Monday morning the meeting of the Osage County Board of County Commissioners was brief with many of the actionable items on the agenda passed until the next meeting. Two such items, the continuing discussion of opening a section line near Skiatook and the approval of electric line installation along Osage County roads for the Clear Sky Wind Project LLC, were passed over.

The section line continues to be a subject of debate primarily due to legal wording. Beginning in August the request for the section line to be opened arose in order to create a road to a landlocked property near Skiatook, however legal wording and proximity to Corp of Engineers property has placed action on the item in a stalemate. The commissioners once again took no action on the item until wording on the application is changed and approved by legal council.

The Clear Sky Wind Project LLC application for electric line installation was also tabled due to legal verbiage. The section line request will not be placed on the Commissioner's agenda again until the legal wording of the application is changed. The Clear Sky Wind Project LLC application will be discussed next week at the Tuesday meeting of the Osage County Board of County Commissioners, as Monday is a Holiday.
