Sentencing on Tuesday for Tulsa Man Arrested in Dewey

Washington County Judge Russell Vaclaw will sentence Dominic Tyrell Thompson on Tuesday afternoon. A jury found Thompson guilty on several charges on September 7. Dewey police arrested Thompson with warrants for false impersonation and use of a forged credit card. After the arrest, police also found a stolen vehicle and several bags containing stolen electronics such as cell phones and laptops.

Thompson was already a convicted felon at the time of his arrest. Additional charges against him include felony possession of a handgun and possession of stolen property. According to court affidavits, Thompson could be sentenced to 24 years in prison. His sentencing is set for Tuesday, October 5 at 1:30 P.M.
