A Special Election is set for October 13 for Bartlesville, Dewey, Copan and Caney Valley Schools. Voters in Washington County who would like to have absentee ballots mailed to them need to apply by 5 P.M. on October 7. Washington County Election Board Secretary Yvonne House is urging voters to apply early and the forms are now available at the County Election Board office.

Any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot for any election in which he or she is eligible to vote. As an alternative to voting by mail absentee, voters can receive and cast a ballot by going to the County Election Board office on October 8 or 9 between 8 A.M. And 6 P.M. For more information, contact the election board at 918-337-2850.
