Principal Chief of the Osage Nation, Geoffrey Standing Bear, has invited Bureau of Indian Affairs Director Michael Black to speak on several issues related to the Osage Mineral Estate. Standing Bear has asked for clarification on several issues important to the Nation's mineral estate.

In August, U.S. District Court Judge Gregory Frizzell, approved a temporary restraining order and a federal injunction in favor of the Oil Producers Association and the Osage Nation Mineral Council and against the BIA. Issues to be discussed Black have no relation to any current litigation. The meeting will be held on September 9 at the Pawhuska Business Development Center and begins at 11 A.M.  More information can be found at https://www.osagenation-nsn.gov/
