Stabbing Leads To Arrest

A Bartlesville man is in custody on a warrant for allegedly stabbing a man during the early morning hours of June 10th.  41-year old Michol D. Dingman is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.  Bartlesville police were called to investigate a possible stabbing at a home in the 1500 block of Melmart Drive.

According to a court affidavit, officers saw a man who had a stab wound being tended to by a woman on the front yard.  Witnesses say the suspect got into a fight with a man, pulled a knife, and stabbed the victim.

Court records indicate that Dingman have two felony convictions in 2000 in Washington County.  Dingman's next court date is September 15th.

Bond was set at $200,000.
